What we collect

When you sign up we ask for your name, email, and the position(s) you can play. You can optionally add a phone number, profile photo, club, and your skill division. We also keep a record of your registrations, attendance, and payments — that's what makes the roster, the receipts, and the season fee work.

How we use it

To run the league: show the slot rosters, schedule sessions, take attendance, process payments, and let you know about your upcoming sessions. Nothing is sold and nothing is shared with advertisers — Summer Ice doesn't run ads.

Who else sees your data

A small number of services help us run things and only see what they need to do their job:

• Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in.
• Mollie processes iDEAL payments. They get your name, email, and the amount; nothing else about you on Summer Ice.
• Resend sends transactional email — sign-in links, payment receipts, and reminders about your sessions.
• Google only sees a sign-in if you choose Google to log in.
• Vercel hosts the website.

What other members see

Logged-in Summer Ice members see your name, your position, your club, and your profile photo on slot rosters — that's the point of the roster. Your email, phone number, and skill division stay private. You can switch to a privacy mode that shows only your first name and last initial in your profile at any time. Player data is not exposed to the public internet or search engines.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't run ad trackers or third-party analytics that build a profile of you across the web.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete your account. Email info@summerice.nl and we'll handle it. Payment records are kept as long as Dutch tax law requires (around seven years) even after you leave; everything else is removed when your account is deleted.

Children

Summer Ice is for adults. If you're under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before signing up.
